Kurt Settles

Chairman

Kurt Settles is husband to Anji, father to 7 children, grandfather of 2, and founding chairman of We the People TN. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps (SGT E-5). Kurt is a certified instructor of the Institute on the Constitution’s (IOTC) U.S. Constitution Course, co-developer and instructor of IOTC’s The Sheriff and The Citizen course, and facilitator of the Foundation for American Education’s (FACE) Principled Studies Group. Kurt with his family has lived, worked, and served in the Cookeville, TN area since 2007. Kurt believes that the restoration of the American republic to its roots and foundations depends upon the continual education and purposeful actions of self-governing and self-reliant Christian families and churches, forming “We the People”.


Darren Wilson

Vice-Chairman

Darren Wilson serves as the Vice Chairman of We The People TN (WTPTN) and has since it’s inception.  As a local businessman and owner of Bluewaters Equipment Rentals and Broker/Realtor with The Realty Firm in Cookeville, being involved in the community and wanting to see it succeed and thrive is very important to him. Darren also serves as Chairman of the Putnam County Republican Party and is active in his church as a musician at Life Church’s Traditional Service at the Edge. Darren believes each member brings their own individual talents, ideas, resources, and faith in a common goal to remind the public of the core Christian values on which this country was founded, how far we have strayed from them, and prays God continues to bless WTPTN for HIS Glory.


Angela (Anji) Settles

Treasurer

Anji Settles is a wife, homemaker, and mother of seven. She has graduated three homeschooled children and is still at it. She pretends to live on a homestead in a suburban neighborhood without chickens and a small garden of tomatoes. She enjoys quilting, canning, and crafting, and doing her best to glorify God and enjoy Him every day.


Amy Jennings

Secretary

Amy Jennings is a Christian, native Tennessean and a passionate patriot. She and her husband Darrell have raised 5 children and have 1 adorable granddaughter. Amy is currently the Secretary for We The People TN and is part of the founding group. In her spare time, Amy does graphic design and likes to email elected officials to voice her opinion on legislation that affects our state and country. Amy has been a registered and active voter since 1992. Amy has been part of the church body her entire life, attending Collegeside church of Christ, and believes deeply that God has control of the situation in our country and prays for all Americans.
